The Club - Presentation Presentation • Founder note

Goals
The Grand Nature Club is a non-profit organization with the main goal to bring people together, giving people the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor safely with a group, under certain rules, without having a professional guide. Also, this is a chance to meet people with the same interest and discover new sceneries.

Target
Adults (18 years old and up), beginner, intermediate and advanced.

Activities
Most of the activities takes place in Banff National Park, Yoho National Park, Kootenay National Park, Canmore and Kananaskis. The schedule is shown on the website and posted in some businesses. Activities take place regardless of the weather but participants would decide if they go or not. Excursions last for a minimum of three hours.

Carpool
A carpool is organised to facilitate transportation. In case of insufficient transport the day of the activity, other options would be evaluated: activity around banff townsite, organization of other transportation like taxis or bus.

Safety
Each participant is responsible for him/herself and would take measures for their own safety: warm clothes, water and food in quantity, knowledge of trail conditions, whistle, first-aid kit, etc.
